At the Boys & Girls Club of New Haven, we serve with one purpose- to inspire and enable young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens. Because of our dedicated staff and trusted youth development programs, we are impacting the lives of young people and their families every day by helping them develop strong character, positive social skills, self-esteem and academic discipline needed to be successful in school and beyond.

Our dedicated staff strives to provide a world-class Club experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship and living a healthy lifestyle.

We want kids to graduate from high school with a plan for the future. Our programs foster life-long learners by supporting academic success, goal setting and providing access to tools that prepare them for the 21st century.

We encourage youth to be engaged citizens who support and influence the Club and community and who sustain meaningful relationships with others. We also work to help youth develop a positive self-image and good character.

We teach Club youth how to adopt a healthy diet, practice healthy lifestyle choices and to make a lifelong commitment to fitness.
